On our return path from the trek, we took a bath and swam in this beautiful lake to refresh ourselves from all the exhaustion.

It was a perfect way to end our journey

....and to start a new one! :)

after using my D80 for 2 years, this day was the hardest test for my camera, a lots of water, wind and some dust, but it still works like it`s just out of box :)

I like the natural curve in the hair here. Also, she has a slightly curious look here.

I can't remember all that went into this drink besides white wine, grand marnier along with apples and mint garnish but this was a nice, refreshing drink.

Taking some time to refresh our feet and drink from the river.

A light sprinkling of an April shower shared the morning. It has been an unusually dry month, it was quite nice to taste the freshness in the air.

This image reminds me of my childhood when my brother and I used to spend the summertimes at our grandparents' place. We ventured through Abruzzo's beautiful environment with no other thought than the next game.

This is the Fontana del Pisciarello, which dates back to late XVIII century. It was originally out of the town walls and it was used for watering herds.
