Went for a swim yesterday at my aunt's house. She just got a new pool so the water was freezing! Then it started to rain and the raindrops created some cool patterns.

Location: Waste water holding dam at a quarry near Durbanville.
Description: Bio-hazard or Bio-fuel? This purple tin floating on a mat of bright green algae caught my eye recently. Perhaps it was the bright contrasting colours, or perhaps I was just thirsty... whatever it was, it looked good enough to capture!
Technique: This is another two image vertical panorama with very little further manipulation. After blending the images, I tweaked the levels a bit, and increased the contrast and saturation to the cool-drink tin to make that pop out a little more. A light dab here and there with the dodge brush, a little bit of clarity, and I was done!

Thank you all!
With temperatures in the 90's I keep the bird bath filled. I add ice to the bath when I'm there also.
