Droplet Refraction
A droplet on the Jade refracting the leaves (and some berries) of the Pittosporum Tree.
I am about 10 hours behind on an 8 hour day, today. back to catch up later.
It's Dandelion season again and I've been toying with this idea for a few weeks. I took a few water drop refraction shots today, for the first time. I had fun when I worked it out.
Explore # 178
For few months now I own a 50mm lens and tried only few times!!! It has been two weeks now that I am following the saying "Practice makes perfect", even though I didn't perfect it yet but I am getting there!! Your thoughts have much value!!!
Thanks for your visit and kind comments.
Raindrop
A very tropical day here today with passing thunderstorms.
Lots of raindrops around, I like the refraction in this one best.
This is a photo of refraction patterns as seawater flows over a shallowly submerged coastal rock. I love the contrasting play between the light brown/golden highlights and the darker gray areas, and how this momentary configuration of movement in the surf has given rise to these undulating light patterns.

Something I've always wanted to improve on is droplets with refracted flowers etc. Pity on this occasion, I've captured it by chance. Tiny fly on Ragwort.
So this particular spider constructed an amorphous web, not a pretty spiral like an orb weaver. This made for some interesting effects in the sun with a fairly open aperture...
Seltzer with frozen cherries and blueberries. The spoon is reflecting the sunlight and the water is refracting the spoon. The seltzer surface and the cherries also show reflections.

Happy Macro Mondays and have a wonderful and safe week...;-)
With all the craziness in the world today, I am so grateful for my family, and the little distractions like #MacroMondays to keep me sane.
