I know domes are everywhere these days but couldn't resist these shots in Sheffield Peace Gardens this morning
This was a shot from the most amazing beach I've ever been to. Wharaiki beach. You walked along a track among sheep for 20 minutes at the tip of the south island, before coming into this little river where baby seals sleep and swim. Then onto an amazing windswept beach with little ripples in the sand and a massive stone arch only a few metres from the shoreline. We walked along this beach after this amazing rainbow near the arch, only to find more eroded rocks, arches and little crevices. Definitely coming back to this place.

Sorry for the mixup of the recently uploaded photos. Today I was in a mood for reflections and pink-purple tones. So I found this image in my Duesseldorf archives.
Reflection is a flower of the mind, giving out wholesome fragrance; but revelry is the same flower, when rank and running to seed.

Well… I returned home safely this morning from my two week photographic workshop on the Isle of Skye… with 68 Gigabytes worth of images!!
Although we had plenty of rain and loads of midges… that certainly didn’t prevent us from exploring every corner of the island… and shooting all the most iconic locations… in the best possible light!!
Here is one of my favourite shots from my most favourite iconic location of all… the Old Man of Storr… reflected in a tiny loch… and captured just as the clouds, light and reflections were looking at their very best.
I’d like to thank Jenny, Anne, Peter, Tom and Steven for sharing all these unforgettable experiences with me… I had an absolute blast shooting Skye with you guys (and girls)!!

After a botched attempt at heading out to Hazelwood Lake to catch some sunset shot, Scotty and I decided that it didn't look like a good night for lakeside sunset shooting.
Man, were we wrong.
This wasn't as nice as the one I missed the night before but decent enough to pull off a few shots.
a glance, a flicker, a moment half-seen. on the left, a reflection—a woman’s gaze caught in the shimmer of glass. on the right, a woman in pink, present and tangible, the anchor to this layered reality. the café becomes a boundary, not just of glass, but of perception, where lives intersect and overlap without touching. light dances on surfaces, and the ordinary becomes layered with mystery. reflections are whispers of stories untold, while the real unfolds quietly in the warmth of the café.
