Reflections at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland at night. Weather conditions were near ideal for reflections. It was a calm night and a clear moonlit sky. Long exposure taken with my Camera mounted on my Manfrotto 190 tripod.
By walking along the Seille, a small river near Metz - France .
Reflets dans la Seille , en empruntant la nouvelle passerelle à Metz -Magny.
See the reflections magical power
As they swim behind the flower
Dancing with the light , that did fall
Past the trees, wild and tall
On the pond, as the magical power
Of the reflections, shining beyond the flower
In the stillness of the night, the Casina Vanvitelliana emerges from the waters of Lake Fusaro like an ancient marvel. The warm lights caress its baroque shapes, creating a perfect reflection that duplicates the elegance of the architecture. The bridge, illuminated by a row of lamps, is an invitation to cross the threshold of time, in a place where history and beauty meet under a starry sky. An image that celebrates the magic of historic buildings and their power to enchant even in the dark.

A revisit of possibly the best sunset I have ever seen. Whilst I have posted photos of this boat previously, none have had this little water around it.
Even when housebound, creative photos will present themselves. Shot at a heavy angle with reflections through a sliding glass door looking towards the ocean.
Some lovely cloud reflections on the River Forth at low tide today. Managed a walk over the bridge and back - about 3 km round trip. Highlight of the trip was a pair of Peregrine working the Feral Pigeons on the bridge structure. Didn't see the kill itself but one was successful. Needless to say my lens has now been repairs but has not yet been returned but these were the first shots with the repaired camera. Longannet Power Station on the left and Grangemouth straight ahead
A black and white capture Taken from the walls of Kilchurn castle looking out over Loch Awe to the hills in the background with all the relections showing in the peaceful waters of the loch. i thought this was too dark but did not change it as i liked the flowers on the wall with the contrast of the reflections in the water
I was somewhat impressed with the clarity of the water in the western Montana 'pond' which allowed such wonderful reflections of this Timber Wolf. I almost think he scared himself with his own reflections.
The highlight of this area is Issyk Kul Lake, second biggest alpine lake in the world after lake Titicaca.
But in Cholpon Ata, right next to it is a small pond.
That small pond is not very appealling : it's muddy, dirty, not ideal for a swim.
But for a reflection picture, it kinda works.
Reflections of Mt Sibbald during an amazing adventure with the man Mr Poulton and two awesome mates. Was a big spoil for my birthday a couple of years ago and a gift I won't ever forget.
There are many canals at the North of Lake Tekapo as they run off the mountains.

Sandpipers take a sunrise break atop of a jetty wall covered in sea water, made for a perfect mirror reflection.
This scene might be familiar to many visitors to Highfields. After a fruitless trip to Attenborough, I headed for Highfields and found a far greater number of opportunities. I had never seen these trees looking so beautiful as on this particular morning, though I was just thankful that I was able to make some decent autumn images, having had to watch so many stunning scenes from my car on the way to work. This was a little reward.
