A change from seascapes! With gales forecast for last weekend I managed to get to a local park a few days before to try and get some autumn shots. Seeing these leaves in the pond and marooned on a rock just had to be taken - I always seem to have water in my shots!
Out and in, in and out
Water flying all about
Reflections swimming coloured green
In natures mirror, they are seen
Trees that drown, trees that rise
Placing beauty in all eyes
That see water flying all about
Out and in, in and out
More fun down the road in the Nicola Valley and we have strange weeds to go with the muted reflections.
I have posted a photo similar to this, but this bird was so co-operative that I was able to capture a variety of shots. This is one of him facing the other way. Taken while on vacation in Mexico.
Another shot from Garabaldi lake, In Squamish, BC. The colour of the water there was just so blue, and it provided some great reflections, from the mountains, and trees.

Brought forward from 2012 just because. I am away for a few days ... catch you anon. The same scene from the previous year is in the first comment box and makes for an interesting comparison year over year. View large if you can.

Another view on the lake where I spent some time last weekend. It was a lovely morning and the beautiful light enhanced the remaining autumn colours.
