Cottam Power Station, Trent Valley. It was almost dark when I took this, without a breath of wind and a clear sky. I tweaked the highlights and added some contrast in Lightroom to get this surreal image. I'm looking forward to some early morning light and mist on the lake in this location. My fascination with the Trent Valley power stations continues....would have loved to have shot them before they were all decommissioned, trying to make the most of them before they are demolished.

Another of my takes at Emsworth Harbour on my early morning visit last month.

Looking into water is like looking into a memory. It bends, it blurs, it surprises. What I see depends less on the surface and more on the way I stand before it. Maybe that’s what a reflection really is—not answers, but gentle reminders that I’m still becoming.
