I walked around Reflections Lake this afternoon, after the morning rains had passed and the sun put in an appearance, to see what fall colors I could capture. The wind had died down to next to nothing so the water was more like a mirror. I had made it about three-quarters of the way around the lake when I took this shot looking North and capturing this stand of trees. This is about it for fall. We're expecting strong winds tomorrow in the Anchorage bowl which will probably blow most of the rest of the leaves off the trees!

In a garden in Bowral there are 75,000 Tulips planted to celebrate the coming of spring.
The night before however the area was deluged by torrential rain which resulted in large puddles being created which in turn created this beautiful reflection of red tulips.
