Tried and tried to get a shot of the lampshade itself (it was so pretty) but I couldn't get the camera to focus properly - so I turned it into a reflection self-portrait. ;)

Reflections @ Clerkenwell Green

A female grackle having a drink of water in a puddle. I liked the ripples.

This is a reflection of a few buildings in the Rolex building glass. The glass is alternately highlighted by a polarization effect- the splotchiness on some of the panels. The effect is also visible on car windows when you wear polarized sunglasses- the coating on the glass polarizes reflected and refracted light, thus becoming visible when another polarizer is brought into the picture.

This is an office building close by the State Capitol. I really liked the reflections on the windows in this one so I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Convex look around the kitchen, plus eye level view of wooden implements and a silicone pasta fork

for the word of the week mirror, so this is also 9/52. maybe it would fit "reflection" better than "mirror" but i hope that's alright...

played around with the mirror and camera remote for a while and this is the best i could get today. the light reflection from the window in my eye is bothering me, as well as the blue line next to my eye (from the small mirror i was holding to my face). oh well :)

We went through a show home in our area. This was part of a bedroom display.

Beautiful sunset in Marseille, France. The reflection of the ship is on the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations and the reflection of the clouds is on the Villa Méditerranée.

Even with the dirt-streaked mirror ... there's something I really like about this pic. Note to self: next time find a clean mirror :)
