I spot the blue reflections in the windows, of course it stands out and attracts my eye.
Some things change, some things remain.

some mornings I just cant get to my work, last 3 photo's are all from one bike ride to my work (had to wait here for the open bridge anyway)
I found a large puddle on flatish ground and tried to capture the reflections.
The images were quite disappointing apart from this one which I rotated 180 degrees.
At first glance it is hard to believe this is upside down.
I am not sure of the name of this building, but I pass by it everyday at Colorado Boulevard and Exposition Avenue. The building being reflected in the orange windows is Denver's 'Darth Vader' Building (The Mountain Towers, officially) along with the clouds. Not much processing done, this is pretty much what she really looks like. Driving down Colorado Blvd at the wrong time of day however, the bright orange reflections this building casts have been known to be quite the road-hazzard to the drivers below. Still, a beautiful sight along Colorado 2, Colorado Blvd.'s official name.

Well, I had to work on at least one picture; chose this. Unfortunately, it was too cluttered, so it isn't as impactfulsome as I'd hoped, but I had fun doing it.
Just thought this was a cool reflection as we walked by the pool of water that had formed after some heavy rain.

24th Annual Chariot festival of Sri Mayurapathy Paththirakaali temple is held today (6th of August 2011) in Colombo amidst heavy downpour. Five wooden carved chariots parade through the streets of Bambalapitty (Colombo 04) and Wellawatte (Colombo 06).
Devotees dressed elegantly and took part in religious rituals such as carrying clay pots of camphor, rolling themselves on the ground, smashing coconuts and hanging on hooks (Kaavadi ~ Men only). Few devotees who fulfill their vows, got into trance and danced on the streets. Devotional songs played throughout the dazzling parade. Traditional and non ~ traditional musical instruments added colour to the festival
