Since pinhole cameras do not have a viewfinder and it is therefore not possible to precisely define the image frame, the negative scan had to be cropped slightly to achieve a satisfactory composition. Otherwise, I edit the scans as little as possible so as not to change too much the character of the dreamy and soft pinhole rendering.
This is a Juvenile Sanderling.
The Pea Island Wildlife Sanctuary is an excellent place to see warblers and much larger birds like the Herons. There were thousands of White Pelicans which originate in Wyoming and come to North Carolina for winter.
I am a reflection of what people expect from me.
And even then. It is not enough.
I don't know why, but this reminds me of a movie still.
I'm also addicted to golden hour -- it's kind of a problem.

Added to these windows are boxes of flowers. We live in a very old building so not many people have put window flower boxes out. I can see these and the reflections of trees from our own windows and balcony.

Reflections at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin at night. It was a lovely clear and calm night so excellent conditions for reflections.

A couple of months after moving to central Washington from Texas, I drove over to Mount Rainier National Park for a photographic day trip. I've visited this park numerous times, and almost every time I travel there via Chinook Pass, I have to stop at Tipsoo Lake for photos. I feel compelled to do so because it's quite the sight to see this snowcapped mountain towering in the background over the lake.
On this autumn morning, I hiked around the lake to face Mount Rainier and capture a telephoto of the mountain and it's reflection in the mirror-smooth lake water.
