Amongst the emerald towers,
in the midst of the pines,
the sun warmed my body;
I prespired wines.
Billowing clouds, so far off in the distance
lingered in the blue.
Shades of aquamarine and cornflower
toned the overhead view.
Inhaling the pure mist
along with clean air,
I breathed in actual relief;
refreshment to my despair.
Across the meadows, far away,
were big globs of sepia rock
that stood tall and proud
homing many a hawk.
Under my toes were slender leaves,
creeping from beneath me;
shooting out in all directions;
tickling my knee.
In front me, was a pool of delight
with clear water flowing gently.
Ripples of jade and sapphire
dancing close to silently.
The mainstream was still tepid;
seeming so tranquil to me.
This was true perfection
staring back at me.
I then wondered
why I'd seen
an image of myself
within the gleam.
I figure God
was sending a sign
to let us know
that all mankind
will have their day;
All are special in some way,
so we must do the same for nature.
We must lend protection,
as it does for each of us
by casting our reflection.
Various reflection shots, need to view all 5 in the set to fully appreciate. Taken with my Nikon 35mm SLR film camera and tripod, hence no exposure stats
East Park, on a cold frosty morning ice on the lake and pathways so care when walking. These are mainly reflection photos apart from one showing rubbish thrown over the bridge, where all these were taken from felt safer staying on the top.
I love doing this, usually with the same reflection, catches my eye every time.
Love the new location maps - well done Flickr! :-)

So beautiful in the morning of Docklands. The surface of water was looked like a giant mirror, and fresh air was all around.

When I looked at the weather forecast and saw "River Flood Warning (Trinity River at Dallas)" I knew I had to stop by and check out the skyline reflections.
The skyline lights weren't all on yet, but I kinda like the way it looks without the green lights.

A great fire reflection during the 8 times a year Waterfire celebrations in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. When the sun goes down the people come out to walk a mile long stretch of river filled with giant cemet vases piles high with wood.

I enjoyed capturing this the moment i saw this because, the reflection of the tree was for some reason exactly matched the sign on the signboard for a men's room. I was not sure if i should post this; decided to go ahead just see how people liked it........ Hope you like it.
