Another part of an old house in Biala Rawska, this window. Rusty and crusty and the paint is peeling off. Love these old buildings.
A photo from one of the bridges looking under the Tyne Bridge and the reflections of the structure. I really like the shadows of the structure on the wall.
Taken with a Nikon D5000:
ISO 100 18mm f/5.0 1/25sec
*6 exposures at 1EV each: -3EV to +2EV
*Lightroom 3 Beta for white balance, color correction, highlight recovery, and noise reduction

Reflection of a lenticular cloud in the Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile.
This is a scan of a film print from early 2004 taken with EOS 50E.
The seas here were quite unpredictable, having to run away as they pushed in and then scamper back to the shore line in the hopes of catching the reflections left in the wake.
hydrangea reflected on glass
Inspired by the hydrangea's graphic decay lines, been working on 'reflection' through daylight. I love these kind of experiments. The reflection of the little leaf turned out to be black and white, which is pure luck. Could not predict that. So had to try more shapes and objects. Did a lot, these are a few.
A reflection of two expats taking a photo by their mobile for a buildings in the center of Manama the capital of kingdom of bahrain. And I used the symmetry composition rule using a shop glas to reflect my scene .. in post processing I used black and white.

My photo for week 16 of my 52 weeks for dogs project. This weeks group challenge is 'reflections'. Rather than show Taivas and her reflection I decided to just take her reflection and then turned it right way up! Out in the forest, at Pig Bush. Btw, Taivas did not want to pose. I needed her close to the edge of the bank to get a good reflection and she thought I was trying to push her in! Taivas is not that keen on water, lol.
Taken with my Sony DSC-H7. The contrast was altered slightly in MS Digital Image and it's slightly cropped but no other processing.
Reflection:
1. Something, such as light, that is reflected.
2. Mental concentration; careful consideration.
I guess this picture has both :)
Our Daily Challenge ... reflections
"For disappearing acts, it's hard to beat what happens to the eight hours supposedly left after eight of sleep and eight of work." ~ Doug Larson
I've been thinking about how I ever had the time to do everything I needed and wanted to do when I went to work everyday. Now that I'm retired I am so busy, I don't know how I had time to go to work!
Reflections in River Liffey at Chapelizod, Dublin, Ireland
A number of Rowing Clubs are based at this location on the River.
It was one of those days when there were fantastic reflections on the water.
Shot of the next door house window in a reflection off the wet sunroof of my car after a shower. The remaining pools of water pick out the sunroof patterning.
The reflection of trees in water is made from sunlight rays that bounce off the trees onto the water's surface. The surface of the reflection pool acts as an opaque material and bounces the light rays from the sun, onto the tress and then back into your eyes.
This scene was seen and photographed in a reflection pool at Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, California
Back to the Silverburn for some more from my photowalk in August. The theme is water. Going upriver from the bridge I came across this pool-like area where the river was flowing so slowly I could see a building reflected in the surface. Its a rather large house undergoing a virtual rebuild. I think it has a rather nice outlook over the river.
Tweaked this a little in Topaz Clarity.
