The website for Malibu Creek State Park describes the park like this in its opening paragraph:
Considered the recreational crown jewel of the Santa Monica Mountains, Malibu Creek State Park has over 8,000 acres of rolling tallgrass plains, oak savannahs and dramatic peaks. It's no wonder many call it "The Yosemite of Southern California".
The park was owned by 20th Century Fox from 1946-1974, and portions of classic movies like Planet of the Apes, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, M*A*S*H, and have been filmed in and around here.
Rock Pool is now a place where kids hang out on summer weekends and jump off the cliffs into the water -- even though it's specifically prohibited on signs. This lone tree got some nice afternoon light on it and its reflection was framed nicely by these two rocks in the foreground.
Eleventh picture of my series Reflections, all taken in the Albufera of Valencia.
(This time looking for the abstract lines and reflections of the canes and clouds over the water)
Albufera means, according to its Arab origin, small sea.
In some poems it was called the Mirror of the Sun.
On the technical side, say that I only used a neutral gradient three steps filter.
I hope you like it. Have a nice Thursday. :)

Reflections in the window of an independent vintage clothes shop at the top of Catherine's hill, Frome.
A rare sun of late winter and an impromptu trip to Long Branch Farm. Using the light while I have it.
I really like the way the shadows on the cement blocks and reflections in the glass windows interplay. The clouds in the windows look as if they're part of the sky.
Sorry for the mixup of the recently uploaded photos. Today I was in a mood for reflections and pink-purple tones. So I found this image in my Duesseldorf archives.
Up above Peso de Rêgua, the dammed water of the Douro River runs slowly, proportioning some wonderful reflections.

The large dawn redwood next to the pool is a complicating factor, reflection-wise.
The fascinating rocky shoreline holds many small tide pools which provide interesting reflections. Pemaquid Lighthouse, Pemaquid Point, Maine
Peaceful scene of mountain reflections in a kettle lake along the Richardson Highway in Alaska. As always, thanks for your comments and have a great week ahead!
