Flanking the South Lawn at the University of Melbourne, the reflecting pool is just 200mm deep due to weight restrictions (it is directly over the Southern car park). The car park and the South Lawn space form an integrated design: the concrete pillars which support the ceiling of the underground car park are hollow, accommodating the root systems of the trees in this picture.

A lilypad in a reflecting pool at the Enid Haupt Conservatory building in the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. The raindrops and/or dew have have remained on the surface as silvery drops, and a number of them assembled into a large bubble of waterdrops...a rather astonishing phenomenon. The blue of the sky has colored the dark water of the pool and there are reflections of a tree and water plants on the water's surface as well.

It's a trick.
Every time I look at this picture, I wonder when I acquired a tilt-shift lens... but I didn't. The close-up focus on the water made everything look like it's in miniature. Aside from some light adjustment, this is straight out of the camera.
The decorations they put in the Garfield Conservatory for Christmas look really good around all the foliage. As usual it was the perfect place to take the edge off the first batch of cold air this winter.

Apparently (according to the tour guide), the length of the lake is the same as the height of the Monument [but see comments!]
Surrounding each of the two pools are panels engraved with the names of those who were killed in the 911 terrorist attack, and the February 26, 1993 attack.

Before opening to the public, 9/11 Memorial Museum staff places a white rose at the name of each victim who has a birthday that day.
The names of every person who died in the 2001 and 1993 attacks are inscribed into bronze panels edging the Memorial pools, a powerful reminder of the largest loss of life resulting from a foreign attack on American soil and the greatest single loss of rescue personnel in American history.
