Todd Morgan Beamer was one of the United Airlines Flight 93 passengers who tried to overtake the hijackers and regain control of the aircraft, which eventually crashed in Pennsylvania.
Todd and other passengers had been in communication with people via in-plane and cell phones and learned that the World Trade Center had been attacked using hijacked airplanes. Beamer tried to place a credit card call through a phone located on the back of a plane seat but was routed to a customer-service representative instead, who passed him on to supervisor Lisa Jefferson. Beamer reported that one passenger was killed and, later, that a flight attendant had told him the pilot and co-pilot had been forced from the cockpit and may have been wounded. He was also on the phone when the plane made its turn in a southeasterly direction, a move that had him briefly panicking. Later, he told the operator that some of the plane's passengers were planning "jump on" the hijackers. According to Jefferson, Beamer's last audible words were "Are you guys ready? Let's roll."

It had been a long time since we had been to the University of Alberta Botanic Garden in Greater Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. During COVID 19 pandemic when cases were getting lower and facilities were reopening in Alberta, we decided to pay a visit to the gardens. This shows the reflecting pool of the Aga Khan Garden, Alberta.

Villa Pisani Reflecting Pool. (18th Century).
It was begun in the early 18th century on commission by the noble Venetian Pisani family. Alvise Pisani, its most prominent member, was appointed doge in 1735. The initial models of the palace by Paduan architect Girolamo Frigimelica still exist, but the design of the main building was ultimately completed by Francesco Maria Preti.
Deserted by its eponymous family, the villa has had a share of notable and infamous visitors: Napoleon who acquired the villa in 1807. It has been a national monument since 1882. Here Hitler first conferred with Mussolini in 1934.
