Tilted redux was processed in Lightroom whereas Tilted was processed in C1- very different post process tools.
UGHHHHHHHHH - Ive been dying to jump on the TTV bandwagon for a while now so I made my way over to the storge unit and lo and behold - first bin i find -my old cameras!..
whoo hooo i think... find my old trusty Yashica 24 , bring it home starting rigging up contraptions to shoot and viola - the ground glass has a grid screen!... sheeeeeeet!!!
- ive spent the last 3 days trying to take it apart... i do.. and looks like i need to find the right type of screen because now i have only the center dot area and blah blah...
- i may have to get on the dreaded ebay ( HINT _ NAT ) and get a TLR that has the right ground glass and start over...

I'm pretty sure I'm going overboard with this cliche vignetting effect, but it tickles my fancy for now. ;-)

I decided to do some editing on the original 'Canadian Sweetness!'. So here's another version.

The original photo was shortlisted for inclusion in an online Vancouver guide magazine. Following is a portion of a Flickr mail I received on June 6, 2010:
"I am delighted to let you know that your submitted photo has been selected for inclusion in the newly released eleventh edition of our Schmap Vancouver Guide: "
"Claire Evans, Editor, Schmap Guides".

Reprocessed version following some comments on the "Hit, Miss, Maybe, WHY?" group. What do you think?
He passed away just about this time last year. There was something noticeably missing during the holidays a few months ago. He is missed...to say the least.
My mother pointed out at some point last year that most of my pictures of Nipper were in his older years (by virtue of my starting flickr when he was already in his "doggy senior" years!). I've been wanting to upload some younger pictures I had of him (taken on my first digital camera, a Canon PowershotA70, long before my flickr account). I'll try to come up with a few more tomorrow.

I recently inadvertently deleted many photos from my photostream. I've been trying to retrieve as many of them as I could - it hasn't been easy... Like this one, I've marked the 'deleted' photos as 'redux'. I lost all of the information that goes with a photo, including the faves and comments I received. I'm merely putting them back in my photostream so they are not lost forever. I've turned off the comments for each of them.
Versus www.flickr.com/photos/yamane-chan/5828031477/ when I was using James computer (only accessible to flickr friends). This, my friends, is what happens when color spaces actually behave and the monitor I'm using isn't terrible.
Yet another look east on Columbia from the Seattle University campus. I just like this view when I walk to class. So sue me.

.avina. was quite right about the crop here... the image below was pretty much straight out of the camera; this is much more intimate
all critique is most gratefully appreciated as this sort of work is an area i'm quite unfamiliar with. in fact, i had not shot in RAW prior to miss aniela's shooting experience! nor had i found out how to do a vignette in p/shop... *insert 'embarrassed emoticon' here* :)
