I recently inadvertently deleted many photos from my photostream. I've been trying to retrieve as many of them as I could - it hasn't been easy... Like this one, I've marked the 'deleted' photos as 'redux'. I lost all of the information that goes with a photo, including the faves and comments I received. I'm merely putting them back in my photostream so they are not lost forever. I've turned off the comments for each of them.
After the Redline was swiped I was forced to actually rebuild the Kabuki instead of just talk about it. And here it is. New Deep-V for the rear. New BB, Headset, Stem, Seat Post, Brake, Lever, Cable, Housing, Fork, Chain. Rides Great! Future changes will probably be Deep-V for the front, shorter stem, white saddle, and different gearing for more skip patches (I've got 3 as is)
Back in 2009 I think, I discovered a programme called LDD (Lego Digital Designer). It allowed me an almost limitless supply of Lego bricks to create virtual structures. I was instantly taken back to my 5th birthday when I got my first Lego fire engine.
Having evolved a pronounced interest in all things roboty (is that a word?) my preference was for mechanised creations. One of my earliest I called "spider bot" and it was a multi-limbed agent working for a group known as the Space Skulls (which is a theme created by Lego themselves).
My construction techniques and knowledge of the programme were limited back then, so this is not representative of my best work, but I'm still fairly impressed with the results.
Some time later (around 2011 I believe) I went back and reinvented the design using new techniques I had developed since. The results I referred to as the Spiderbot redux and this is the result.
Lego, Lego Digital Designer and Space Skulls are trade marks of LEGO Company, Spiderbots are an original concept by Steven J Hilton (aka Andros (pittstop) Tempest)
