The story:
I pulled this out of my Worm Factory 360 one day (along with another one that was a bit smaller). I planted it outside, and it shot up to become the tallest plant in my garden. I don't even remember what I had fed my worms to result in something like that, but it must have been the core of some kind of yummy vegetable. At first I thought it was a cauliflower or cabbage, but when it matured, it didn't look like anything I knew. The leaves were edible and tasted like a mix between broccoli and snow peas?? It was pretty cool--I pull up random stuff out of my worm bin all the time!

We went out looking for a bigger dog kennel for Tug, and instead wound up with TWO loveseats, a wingback chair and matching footstool, and a couch. Now to figure out where to put it all... ahh the joys of narrow doorways in old houses...

Had 1 x 12 x 10' old cedar boards left over from the demo at 1010 Broadway. Ripped them down to 1 x 6 x 4' boards, enough for eight 4' square boxes. A contractor friend was beside himself that I'd use this cedar for this purpose!
But oh, the aroma, even after probably 50 years!

I have a porch decor item that needs a plant added - I haven't been able to find standard potting items. I then realized that Blue Bunny ice cream comes in plastic containers and they fit just right! So of course we had to get some. We are working hard (huh? - hardly at all!) in emptying it so that I can plant and get things together. The flavor is mighty fine! But we may need to do some extended research and testing on some other flavors. LOL
