This is probably the coolest assignment I've had this year. We had to choose 5 movies from the 1970s and then redesign their covers. We had to make them look more 2008-ish.

Assignment:
Take a product that you feel could use a redesign. Content and design completely open.
What was done:
created a whole new box that contains two flavors of lipchap. Both in which are combined in an illustration on the front of the box. Simple graphics dress the actual lipchap container.
Demographic: Girls ages 6+
Software Used: Illustrator and Photoshop.

By mouseing over the top of the art space the files menu can be accessed. The menu has been reduced to a set of four representative icons for new file, open, save, and print. The use of icons instead of text is intended to put the user into a more creative state of mind specific to using this program.
