The Chilehaus (Chile House) is a ten-story office building in Hamburg, Germany. It is located in the Kontorhausviertel. It is an exceptional example of the 1920s Brick Expressionism style of architecture.

This building was designed by the architect Fritz Höger and built between 1922 and 1924. It was commissioned by the shipping magnate Henry B. Sloman, who made his fortune trading saltpeter from Chile, hence the name Chile House..[wikipedia]

Fine redbrick and terra cotta building, home of the East Anglian Daily Times, corner of Carr Street and Little Colman Street. Entrance, round tower elevation. Building and street destroyed to make way for the unsuccessful 1960s development, Carr Precinct – now itself obliterated when the paper moved premises to the bottom of Lower Brook Street.

This 1884 building in Port Austin, Michigan was built as a bank but is now a restaurant. It is in the National Register of Historic Places.

Found this old tobacco factory in Bowling Green, stopped for the ghost signs and glad to have done it.
