On Thursday May 19, 2011 the redshirts gathered on Ratchaprasong to remember the 1 year anniversary of the brutal crackdown and the massacres that happened on Phan Fah and around Ratchaprasong. 92 people have been killed; many unarmed civilians have been killed by a bullet through the head fired by a cowardish sniper hiding at a safe distance and acting on the order of a heartless commander.

One year has passed and still there is no justice, no truth and too many questions remain unanswered.

Today my wife and I spent a little over 2 hours around and inside the red shirt encampment, we also spent time in the yellow shirt encampment when they protested and I can tell you there was a BIG difference. Due to the constant drizzle all the photographs in this group were taken with the Ricoh GRD, it was much easier to keep covered with the umbrella.
