The redshirts rally at Democracy and at Ratchaprasong to push for the release of their colleagues and leaders from prison and to remember the victims of the crackdown of April and May 2011. The protestors at Ratchaprasong are joined by the protestors who moved in from Democracy Monument after 4pm.
On Thursday May 19, 2011 the redshirts gathered on Ratchaprasong to remember the 1 year anniversary of the brutal crackdown and the massacres that happened on Phan Fah and around Ratchaprasong. 92 people have been killed; many unarmed civilians have been killed by a bullet through the head fired by a cowardish sniper hiding at a safe distance and acting on the order of a heartless commander.
One year has passed and still there is no justice, no truth and too many questions remain unanswered.

Today my wife and I spent a little over 2 hours around and inside the red shirt encampment, we also spent time in the yellow shirt encampment when they protested and I can tell you there was a BIG difference. Due to the constant drizzle all the photographs in this group were taken with the Ricoh GRD, it was much easier to keep covered with the umbrella.
