I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
Now all I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake with I ll never part.
God has you in heaven and I have you in my heart.
In the loving memory of my mother (19-6-2012)
Just a shot of my poppies, this is what greeted me this morning, the sun might not be shining but it isn't raining either and somehow these beauties have survived all that has been thrown at them. By-the-way, just incase I haven't mentioned it before, Poppies are my favourite flower...
There is no doubt about it this time of year provides some amazing photo opportunities as the deer rut get underway.
There is drama to be witnessed with winners and losers in both fallow and red deer herds.
This chap despite his impressive set of antlers had been ousted by possibly a younger and even fitter stag who had taken over the hinds.
This sturdy fellow was not ready to accept his defeat so stood roaring a challenge that carries such a long distance but we did not see any hinds being impressed and the stags simply ignored him

Red Capsicums or Bell Peppers!
A Part of a Series of Still-Life!
These are more mature than green, orange or yellow capsicums. They are rich in carotenoid phytonutrients and contain almost eleven times more beta-carotene than green capsicums as well as one and a half times more vitamin C. Red capsicums have a sweet, almost fruity taste. Their bright colour and sweet flavour make them perfect for tossing into salads. When roasted red capsicums become silken and luscious. Pimento and paprika are both prepared from red capsicums.(SGoogle)
