This is an interesting concept to me. You recycle an old gas station into a place to recycle souls. Located in Mammoth Arizona, a small mining town north east of Tucson.
cutting the plastic into itty bitty little pieces so no lunatic can tie them into circles to trap fish and animals. Well, I couldn't help much with the baking!
My name is Earthmo.
With his giant heart head, Earthmo loves the earth.Earthmo is made from the sun, clouds, and grass. Earthmo may be small and cute but can destroy big if you litter your trash and make earth sad. Remember to recycle! Keep Earth happy!

How each chain attaches to the threaded rods, & is retained in place. An M8 nut retains each 15mm Split-ring (on the ends of the chain) at the two ends, plus an M8 Nyloc nut on the outer end helps keep the whole thing together.
I've spent lots of time thinking about my #1 design challenge: how to use all the little bits and scraps that fill up my sewing room. Throwing away all that usable fabric is just NOT an option anymore!
This design is one answer to my challenge. It features recycled materials from three different garments as the main body-- even recycled organic Patagonia cotton fabric for the collar! I accented the front with strips of coordinating knits and then hand embroidered on a smattering of recycled and vintage buttons.

Industrial pallet cleaned up, broken and missing boards replaced, and a board added to the "bottom to retain soil. There is a 1/2" PVC irrigation system inside running through the center internal board. The vertical pipes feed to horizontal pipes that have tiny hole drilled into them to water the lower portions of the garden. Cover all sides and the bottom first with yard/weed cloth and then with burlap. I poked a holes through the burlap and yard cloth so I could tie it to the fence so it won't fall over. Now it's ready for potting mix. Be sure to pack the soil down so it is completely full. These took just over 3 cubic ft. I cut small holes through the burlap and yard cloth and packed the soil back to make room for the seedlings. I stuffed each seedling into a hole, and pulled the burlap into place just under the leaves.
I stapled the plant ID tags to the pallet so I can rememeber what everything is. If you're going to plant edibles in your pallet as I did, be sure to find one that was heat treated as opposed to fumigated with pesticides. More info on pallet treatment at Palnetusa.

This looks like iron-bearing rocks, but as you look closer, you see that what might have been fossil worm tracks are actually crushed brake pipes, wires and springs.

Recycle Dark Dance Night Embers
Decided to go out and shoot some photography over at Embers. Big thanks to DJ Tibin for letting me take his pictures and everyone that night!
Densil doing a little recycling. I made a movie of this but it needs a little work. When completed I'll post a link in here.
Six legs sewn together. Makes one part of the panel. Going to sew some one the top but in the other direction.
Lunch sack I crocheted for myself out of recycled plastic grocery sacks. The drawstring closure makes a cute ruffle at the top. It is a good size for holding a frozen microwavable meal, can of soda, yogurt or fruit, and something chocolate. :)

Retro Metro Recycled Girls Sundress Size 3/4T
Olivine gingham and a modern swirly print give this sweet sundress plenty of summertime flair! I fashioned this unique dress from a supremely soft men's dress shirt and trimmed it in a dashing olive, chocolate, red and orange Pucci-esque print. It features fully adjustable shoulder ties, a kicky ruffled hem and a comfy elastic back. Perfect for summer days or layered for cooler seasons.
