Today's recycling. This is about 12 bags of trash diverted from Middle Point Landfill.

SeaTac hosted its fall recycling event at Tree High School on Oct. 22. People drop off items like tires, styrofoam, cardboard, paint, etc.

A New Annual Traditionat Sleeping Lady Conference Center is the Recycled Art Show which seeks to educate as well as entertain people about the vast reservoir of materials we waste and should be reusing.

A promise to recycle plastic bottles, which are banned from landfills, at the 2009 NC State Fair in Raleigh.
They don't pick up glass to be recycled, so I have to take it to the local Albertson's grocery store. I guess they're bad at picking this up, too, since it was completely full. I had to leave my glass out in the elements.

This is a photo of a trash can, a paper only recycling container, and a bottles recycling container. It is located right outside of the Biology building. This makes the building green because the material is recycled for other things instead of being wasted. This will overall decrease the size of landfills.

Found this artwork in the Museum of Art. The artists made both pieces from recycled items. One is a collection of shells (something I could make) and the second the artist made from recycled beach litter.

These journals are handmade from recycled traditional heavy saris; some up to 25 years old. The sari’s come in an assortment of rich colours made from luxurious silk threads.
Our journals contain plain, recycled acid-free cotton paper. They have a smooth luxurious finish and are suitable for all pen types, drawing, oil painting and pastels.
