As part of their officer training, Greater Manchester Police’s newest recruits took part in an engagement week (27-31 Marsh 2017) to get know the communities that they will be serving.
During the week the recruits met a number of local community groups, attended briefings from current officers who could pass on their experience, and discovering the priorities for their area.
New officers who will be based in Bolton visited the charity Urban Outreach to look at their work helping the homeless.
