The San Antonio Recruiting Battalion debuted the Family Information & Fun Fair at its Annual Training Conference Dec. 8 at the El Tropicano Hotel. The event’s mission was to provide spouses with information and resources from 14 military and community organizations. Free toys and books were provided to battalion children through the Joint Base San Antonio School Liaison Office. The battalion thanks the following organizations for their support:
Blue Star Families, JBSA School Liaison Office, Transition Assistance Program, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Children’s Shelter, Military 1 Source, Exceptional Family Members Program, United Way, Employment Readiness, Army Family Action Plan, Financial Readiness, Family Endeavors, Family Service Association, VOICES for Children and First Command.

Miami Recruiting Battalion’s Recruiting Reserve Partnership Council brought Army recruiters and Army Reserve command teams together on Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico, May 6.

The 1st Recruiting Brigade Commander Col. Ricky Emerson visits the Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion July 19 and 20 at the Army Depot in New Cumberland, Pa. During this visit, Emerson listened to Pinnacle success at the Harrisburg Opportunity Center, talked synergy with the Pennsylvania National guard and veteran’s organizations, and discussed all things recruiting with the battalion’s staff and company commanders and first sergeants.
