Reconnect with your ex
There’s no worse feeling than being heart broken. So, if you want to get back with ex after a shocking and devastating breakup, here are some tips that you can use:
Ask yourself, “Is it worth it?”
Most of us say “I want my ex back” right after a breakup. But, is the relationship worth keeping. Before you start thinking about how to win your ex back or how to make your ex want you back, you must make sure that the relationship is indeed worth keeping so you need to answer the following questions:
Do you really love your ex or you simply want what you can’t have?
Was the relationship healthy?
Was your ex supportive or was he or she abusive?
Did the relationship help you grow into a wonderful human being?
If your relationship was not healthy, then you should not make an effort in getting your ex back. Instead, you should move on with your life and find someone who will love and respect you.
Do not beg.
One of the most effective tips how to get your ex back fast is to avoid begging. Begging your ex to take you back will make you look desperate and undesirable. So, you should not beg and keep your dignity at all cost. If you beg, your ex may take you back because he or she feels sorry for you, but the relationship will not last because it’s built on pity and not genuine attraction.
Make your ex miss you.
One of the most effective ways on how to get ur ex back is to make your ex miss you and the best way to do this is to avoid contacting your ex in any way. Not talking to your ex at all for a specific period of time during the break up can make your ex change his mind. It allows your ex to remember all the good things about you. It’s best to ignore your ex for a little while, preferably around thirty days.
Pretend like you are unaffected by the breakup and that you are moving on.
Would you want to be in a relationship with someone who stays at home and cries at night or would you rather be with someone who enjoys life? As human beings, we all want to be surrounded with awesome people who live happy lives and your ex is not an exemption. If you want to get back with ex, you have to pretend like you’re not affected by the breakup. Show your ex that you are happily moving on with your life and you would not have a problem replacing him.
Save your relationship
Invest on self-improvement.
When you’ve been in a relationship for a long time, you may get comfortable and stop taking care of yourself for a little while. This could backfire and this could fizzle the attraction and desire. One of the tips on how to get back your ex is to invest on self-improvement. You have to start going to the gym and buying new clothes. You must be willing to lose the extra weight and be your best self.
Reconnect with your friends.
If you want to get your ex back, you must get a life. You must reconnect with your friends, go out often, and try new things. Reconnecting with your friends will not only distract you from your heartache, it would also help your ex see what he’s/she’s missing.
Make your ex jealous.
This is one of the most powerful tips on how to get back with your ex. There’s nothing more powerful than jealousy. If you want to get your ex back, start to date other people. You don’t even have to actually date other people, you can just hang out with people from the opposite sex. That would instantly make your ex jealous and instantly want you back.
Reconnect with your ex.
After the “no contact” period, it’s time to initiate contact. You can send your ex a text message, but keep it short and upbeat. Your text message should show your ex that you are doing well and thriving. Do not bring any drama or relationship issues into the conversation. Keep the conversation fun and light. This will remind your ex what he/she is missing. You can send a question text. You can send something like “Remember that secret beach we found last year? Do you remember which road we took to get there? I want to take my friend there.” This text message will remind your ex of the great times you had together. It will also let your ex know that you’re having fun with your friends and that you have a great life even without him/her. You’re also asking a question so you’ll most likely get a reply.
Do not buy your ex a lavish gift.
Buying your ex a lavish gift to win him/her back is a desperate move and should be avoided. This will help you in getting back with ex.
Do not get into the friend zone.
If you get into the friend zone after the break up, it will be hard for you to rebuild your relationship with your ex. It is also possible that you’ll get hurt when your ex starts to see other people and tell you about it. So, if you want to get back with ex, you have to avoid regular contact and avoid getting in the friend zone.

I spied this phone off the hook this evening. I’ve not really consciously noticed this payphone before, but the receiver lying loose somehow did grab my attention - along with the sign above the phone urging/encouraging one to “reconnect”.
It also felt a bit Matrix-y, which led to the processing.

All faces of those unmasked are blurred to protect them from the evil Scientology cult's fair game policy of harassing & threatening it's critics.
