【両日】re:connect（リ:コネクト）
カラフルなふわふわのアップサイクルヤーンを用いて干支をモチーフに作品を作るワークショップです。
台湾と日本を結ぶ糸。縁起の良いとっておきのお飾りをつくりましょう。
アップサイクルヤーンは、台湾・彰化のニット工場 SUNPOLAR の残糸を使います。
2026年の干支は、午（うま）年です。十干十二支では「丙午（ひのえうま）」となり、火のエネルギーが強い馬が象徴され、「飛躍」「前進」「成功」を意味し特に台湾では「馬到成功（馬が到着すればすぐに成功する)」や「財運（金運）」と結びつけられ、縁起の良い年とされています。
当日は会場で物販もします！ re:connectの商品（スカーフ、ベスト、コースター、キットなど）
◆日程：2月14日(土)・15日(日)

◆所要時間：1時間半～2時間 (説明15分・制作1時間ほど・片付け15分)
◆持ち物：作品を持ち帰る袋 (エコバッグ・トートバッグなど)

講師：中村眞弥子
東京在住の画家。アップサイクルヤーンを用いたプロジェクトre:connectを台中のギャラリー ZASSOと共同設立。作品制作の他に、壁画、装丁、食器、衣類など暮らしに寄り添う作品も多く手がけています。

it has been a busy holiday (we have been painting my mums place while she is in India). not as relaxing as one would hope and one little guy who is really *challenging* these days. it all seems to go in waves but i always search to find a way to reconnect. last night we baked a cake after supper and had it with tea. that is what did it for us - a simple but lovely evening spent together where we all had a great time (though the babe was fast asleep since chocolate cake + baby = crazy).
Our 2016 Reconnect Continuing Medical Education Event featured 7 sessions. Session 1 was "Update in Critical Care for the Non-Specialist: The Future of Early-Goal-Directed-Therapy” by Karin Halvorson, MD, JABSOM Class of 2006.
Session 2 was "Update in Cardiology for the Non-Specialist: PCSK9 inhibitors” by Jonathan Gibson, MD, JABSOM Class of 2006. Session 3 was "Update in Preventive Medicine for the Non-Specialist" by Nellie Sgambelluri, MD, JABSOM Class of 2006. Session 4 was "Update on Urgent Care for the Non-Specialist", by Robert Ruggieri, MD, JABSOM Class of 1991
Session 5 was "Update in Orthopedics for the Non-Specialist: Update on Joint Replacement Surgery" by Kimo Harpstrite, MD, JABSOM Class of 1991. Session 6 was "Update in Geriatrics for the Non-Specialist" by Craig China, MD, JABSOM Class of 1991. Session 7 was "Update in Quality Initiatives for the Non-Specialist" by Todd Seto, MD – JABSOM Class of 1991.
Reconnect with the Sacred Child within Workshop with Gianni Capitani, sponsored by Dewachen Healing Centre and the Victoria Multifaith Society, held at the Yurt, Old West Saanich Road, Saanich BC
