This photo was taken by last year or the year before. All I could remember is that time I was fascinated by the idea of lights travel through the forest. But apparently, I failed to get it.
If anyone could give me some advices or recommend some place with more trees around Perth, I will really appreciate.
Again, thanks all for your browsing and comments.

In the rear gardens of Blenheim Palace. Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located close to Oxford. Besides an enormous palace built in the 1700s, the grounds includes immaculate and extensive gardens. Blenheim Palace is also the birthplace of Winston Churchill.
Cape May Warbler - from a trip we did to Quebec City a couple of springs ago.
Stayed in Mount Ste Anne almost directly across from Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area
A highly recommended park for seeing snow geese as well as many spring migrants such as this warbler.
Being at the top of Pico do Escalavrado is a unique experience. The peak is 1,420 meters / 4,659 feet above sea level and offers a breathtaking view of the city of Rio de Janeiro and Guanabara Bay. The trail to the summit is steep and challenging, but the effort was worth it for the sense of achievement when I reached the top.
Here are some of the meanings of being on the summit of Pico do Escalavrado:
Achievement: The ascent to the peak is a personal achievement. It is a challenge that requires physical strength, endurance and determination. Upon reaching the top, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Connection: The peak of Escalavrado is a place of connection with nature. As I looked out over the stunning landscape, I felt small and insignificant, but also part of something bigger. I felt a sense of peace and serenity.
Inspiration: The peak of Escalavrado is a place of inspiration. Looking at the city of Rio de Janeiro, I felt inspired to reach my goals. I know anything is possible if I try hard enough.
Gratitude: Escalavrado peak is a place of gratitude. As I looked out over the landscape, I felt grateful for the beauty of the world around me. I also felt grateful for the people in my life.
If you are looking for a unique and challenging experience, I recommend the climb to Pico do Escalavrado. It's an experience you'll never forget.

One of my favorite bridges in downtown Chicago. It is the Clark Street Bridge crossing the Chicago River and it was built in 1929.
The Clark Street Bridge is one of 20 movable bridges in downtown Chicago and one of more than 40 movable bridges in Chicago, making Chicago the movable bridge capital of the world.

Just because it's Halloween and make you smile !
I change the small photo and instead of my beloved Puffins I put a photo of me and another one of an Arctic Tern. Both apparently have nothing to do with each other. Except that it is ! On my face the blood is real blood, most had been wiped off by the friend who took the photo. This one was taken on the Isle of May in July 2019. You should know that these Terns nest along the footpath that starts at the pier. These birds, to protect their nests, attack with their beaks the top of the visitor's heads who pass in the path.
They first target the tallest people in a group. This is the reason why it is recommended to wear a hat. For my Scottish and English Flickr's friends who know these Isles (not only on the May), I precise that I did wear a hat. It was my third visit to the Isle of May and since the first time I wore a hat !
It was time to join the boat to return to Anstruther but I noticed two or three visitors behind me so I told to myself I had enough time for a few more shots. Being alone in front of this bird I was the tallest and the other Terns had a great time on my head. As the head was busy, one of them attacked me UNDER the hat !! So, if I have an advice : next time go with a full face helmet 😉
For my readers from the U.K. please let me know if I wrote something wrong 😊

World Trade Center (Manhattan - New York).

A picture, that is only limited recommended to be imitated. To kneel down at night on a frequented and rain soaked road for about 20 to 30 seconds to make a phote is not completely free of risks. I needes about 10 tries until I could complete this shot of the bridge "Blue Miracle" in Dresden. After all I think, I would do this again, but please don’t tell this to my daughter, this is unreasonable... bad example.
Who can resist an old abandoned building ? Despite the obvious state of neglect, the beautiful colours and reflections demanded that I get the camera out.

Thanks so much everyone for your visit and support.
During my recent sojourn in Newcastle, on the Sunday I took a bus from the city-centre to the Beamish Living Museum for my first ever visit - and immediately regretted not having made the effort to go before.
A fabulous and enthralling place to spend time not only because it brings the area's late 19th / early 20th century industrial and social history to life, but also down to the knowledge, enthusiasm and generosity of the volunteers and folk working there. Highly recommended, I'll be going back.
This shot was captured in the mining village.

When in Banff I recommend a visit and tour of this iconic "Castle of the Rockies." Amazing inside and out. With the Bow River flowing below and the river's falls just to the right in this frame and Mt. Rundle rising majestically across the valley there is much to admire around it as well.
"The hotel opened in 1888 by the Canadian Pacific Railway, as one of the earliest of Canada's grand railway hotels. The original wooden structure burnt down in 1926, the replacement structure was made up of a steel frame, clad in Rundle limestone.
The Banff Springs Hotel includes 757 guest rooms and suites spread throughout the hotel property plus 12 restaurants."

When I met Michelle Zauner, lead singer of Japanese Breakfast, and autobiographical Crying in H Mart for this portrait, she was funny and sweet and I didn't know even a tenth of the multitudes she contains at that time. I'd recommend both her music and her autobiography, which gets into her relationship with her mom and her Korean identity and it also lays bare the process of grieving she goes through as her mom dies from Cancer. Zauner is honest and strong and an amazing human. I feel so honored I was able to take this portrait photo of her!
Her new album Jubilee was released June 4th!

I have several Heucheras in my garden and would really recommend them if you're looking for easy plants to look after. You can buy them with such a variety of beautiful leaves now.
This particular one has leaves that change colour throughout the year !

This was a snap-and-run shot as I did it at the middle of traffic while the vehicles were at stop.
I raised the ISO to 2000 to make a hand-held shot possible. At the far background is one of Tokyo's touristic landmarks, The Tokyo Tower.

I was amazed of the huge, I mean very huge LCD monitor in The Village as shown in my previous upload, but I was more amazed, I mean, astonished of the gigantic LCD that The Place has. There are two, four storey shopping malls beneath two office towers. A huge skyscreen links the two malls. The screen itself is a massive 4800 square meters! At night this screen is an amazing diversion for shoppers and a reflection of Beijing’s determination to show off its modern capabilities when it hosted the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Onscreen is the aerial view of the legendary Great Wall of China.

Not recommended unless you happen to have wings!
Although a Puffin apparently has to flap its wings between three and four hundred times per minute just to stay in the air!
Thus making this particular manoeuvre an extremely energetic event!
Highly recommended island in a world of sameyness. Not a waving field of grass or a derelict 60s car to be seen. Tessa just sat there. had a glass of pastis and watched the world go by
Recommend viewing large the details there in the eyes is amazing to see. This was one little golden fly among the remaining raindrops

Recommend using zoom for this one.
I believe this is a parent to two young adults that now have their white feathers. This one was watching two others as they sat on lower limbs of trees. I watched him soar over the mouth of a lake while driving home through Bristol Mills. Wonderful way to end the day:)

I was asked before to show the image when you can see the light at the end of this 960 yards, or 886 metres tunnel. Well - you can see the dark spot there. I know this treatment might be not everyone cup of tea but i sort of like it. More normal image below.
The fact that it is possible to see the light shows how straight the tunnel is. It was finished in 1819 after 7 years of contruction and since then was repaired only once in 2000. Interestingly initially the competion was organised on design but noone came up with the good enough. So the Company engineer James Morgan was doing it based upon his own ideas. 4 mln bricks where used in the process - i do not know where it is big number for bricks but impressive for sure:-)
