I do my best to avoid major rebuilds when modifying my sets, this one is mostly surface changes but it does have a few large chunks that need to be taken apart to mod. I also like to do instructions for my mods, this one was the hardest to complete as my old PC struggled to keep Studio going with such a big model, but I think I got there! I split the modifications up into chunks so you donโ€™t have to wade through the whole mess if you want to, for example, just add the cockpit interior. So the instructions and model are free to grab off Rebrickable...

Thereโ€™s no way I could afford or find space for the set 75290 so I decided to give it the micro treatment. Weighing in at about ยฃ65 and measuring slightly larger than an A5 piece of paper this is slightly more achievable!

The Cantina opens up similarly to the big set, Iโ€™ve just about managed to include all of the figures in barely recognisable micro form (you may have to squint!) and the extra buildings and vehicles are all there too.

I plan on adding Docking Bay 94 for my micro Millennium Falcon, when I do Iโ€™ll add them to both my Falcon and Cantina Rebrickable pages, but for now here is are the micro Cantina instructions. With an X-34 Landspeeder thrown in for good measure.

I'm finally done with a rework of Ironman Mark 47 armor. The figure is 30,05 cm or 12 inches tall, so it's 2,05 cm taller than my previous Mk. 43 model and it has better proportions. My Mk 47 also got much stronger knee joints, which is crucial for pose ability.

The Y-45 armored transport hauler, also known as AT-hauler, built by Kuat Drive Yards and used for the Galactic Empire, with its very agressive and intimidating design, was a great Midi-scale challenge.

Accurately Microfig-scaled (or trophy-scaled), and made of 623 pieces, this MOC features all the typical angles and details of the original cargo ship: agressive cockpit shape, intricate wing angles, lower bridge with its guard-rails and stairs, ion engines and magnetic clamps, holding on a single, secure Lego stand.

With very simple connections, both arms can be installed upwards to put the ship in landing mode.

Instructions for the AT Hauler are available at Rebrickable!

A modular thought in a different way, this time I got to divide the modular in half, like a doll's house. In addition to accessing the interiors in a simpler way, you can also place the front and back of the building side by side. this way it is possible to transform a modular in two.

Instructions for my Balrog MOC are on sale through Rebrickable! Soon, I'll be adding designs for wing prints in the 2.0 package.

Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter set 75333 modified without using any extra pieces, plus a Kamino Landing Pad. Instructions for both are on Rebrickable...

rebrickable.com/users/ron_mcphatty/mocs/

More photos of my modified set and the Kamino landing pad. The set can be modified without adding any extra pieces or rebuilding the wings. Its a fairly simple change and reduces the height of the cockpit area significantly, along with helping the fighter rest lower to the ground. Overall the ship looks a bit sleeker now.

The landing pad is compact and cheap to build, though wedge plates are under some stress so it's pretty fragile and needs to be built in place. The USB LED kit can be found on eBay, check the landing pad instructions zip file for what to look on eBay for.

The 1930's-styled car on the right was heavily modified from Rebrickable instructions by Dongeraldo that were originally based off ER0L's model of the car from the James Bond film "Goldfinger". The instructions can be seen here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-114111/Dongeraldo/rolls-royce-ph... Sadly, it doesn't roll at all, so it's stuck on the flatcar forever. The brake van on the left was designed for my western layout, but wasn't used for it. I took of the cupola on the roof and it thus became Anglicized into a common BR brake van.

Both models are missing train wheels and magnets only.

This model was taken from a Rebrickable MOC of the LEGO Worlds spaceship "PUG-Z" that a user recreated here: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-46324/TOB1bricks/pug-z-ship-from...

I took the free instructions' MOC, and changed them (I removed the toilet, as it was causing problems with the roof) and altered the colors from orange, yellow, and bright light orange to a predominantly black and red model with some light / dark grays thrown in for good measure. I also modified other parts of the ship, making the radio antennas a bit shorter and adding trans-green laser blasters to the ship where the forward-facing lights used to go.

Special thanks to Carl Greatix (designer for TT games) & Mark Stafford for the in-game model.

Shout outs:

First and foremost, Ron McPhatty for the instructions ๐Ÿ™. He has put a lot of time in not only the instructions itself, but also to optimize the build, as to make it affordable.

It does not contain any discontinued or hard to find parts, and the colors are really straight forward - mostly black, light- and dark bluish grey.

Of course, a shout out to @benjamin_last who did the original artwork, and to @monsterpartywars who did some digital sketches for his amazing scratch build 1/144 models.

Love to hear what you think ๐Ÿ‘

Lego Star Wars Imperial LA-CH MOC

My minifig scale MOC of the Imperial LA-CH - or Dropship - based on Artwork by EC Henry ๐Ÿ˜ and carrying two modified AT-ST's by @ldd_modelmaker.

I have no exact part count, but I think it is about 3'700 pcs - 1'800 for the ship; 1'300 for two Walkers and maybe 600 for the stand.

Most delicate is the stand and the balance of the Gunship on it. The ship is "front-heavy" and the space between the Walkers only allowed for one Technic beam of width ๐Ÿ˜ฎ.

But after rounds of stripping the ship down to its bare minimum of bricks, I achieved an nice balance to stay levelled.

A great thanks to @ldd_modelmaker for allowing him to use and mod his AT-ST's ๐Ÿ’ฏ. And as always, EC Henry and and Angelos Karderinis for sharing more details and renders ๐Ÿ™.

Check out my earlier posts for the MOC of the Imperial LAAT - or Gunship - also based on Artwork by EC Henry.

Kei trucks are a style of light vehicle pickup truck. They can be no more than 11 feet long and 5 feet wide. This is a minifig scale version of a kei truck. They are most commonly white, but can come in any color. Kei trucks were first introduced in Japan in 1959 and have since been widely used throughout Asia. Kei trucks are very popular in farming allowing someone to haul quite a bit with a fairly small fuel efficient vehicle.

This minifigure scaled version of a kei truck has room for a driver, opening doors and a tailgate that can be lowered and raised.

This kei-truck is built with 120 pieces, instructions are available on Rebrickable.

The instructions feature easy to follow step-by-step directions and a part list that can be easily uploaded to BrickLink.

Coming straight from the planet Tien Kwan and its mech factory's. I present to you the Exo-45 Patriot Exo-suit! made to spread democracy freedom and liberty to all planets! Now in Lego form.

This model has 523 parts and is almost Minifigure scale with all needed details that's in the mech in game. which includes the eye slit at the front, the complex geometry of the mech, its overall physic, tall and chunky, the hatch on top of the mech and I've even added the little gas cans that's on the back of the mech :)

please note that the mech does not have any opening hatch's or an interior as the insides of the model

were used to make the paneling which shouldn't matter as you only see the inside of the mech for a split second when entering it.

The model is around about 15-20% bigger then the in game mech as i wanted to make it as faithful to its in game counterpart.

The model can stand by itself with full articulation in the legs (cannot stand on one leg) and the weapons and torso can swivel. I have tested the model irl and it holds together perfectly fine with no issues so im sure you wont have any.

As for the instructions if you have any complaints or issues understanding the instructions please feel free to message me I will be happy to help :).

Measurements are

Width: 11.7cm

Length: 9.2cm

Height:16.6cm

As a fan of LEGO mini-figures from the 1980's it seemed like the time had come for the original four "factions" from the Space LEGO universe to be re-interpreted as Brickheadz.

The result is this MOC which features a custom designed brick head from the Classic Space, Blacktron (I), Futuron and M-Tron Themes.

Each Brickheadz can be built and displayed individually (Instructions are broken down into 4 stand alone files), or they can be combined on the display stand (instructions included) to become a powerful force of nostalgia.

Part counts:

Classic Space - 153 Parts (note all white parts can be swapped for Blue if you prefer, and red - as long as you print a custom sticker with the logo - the 1x2 is not available printed in Red)

Blacktron - 180 Parts

Futuron - 175 Parts

M-Tron - 171 Parts

Display Base - 109 Parts

This is my take on The Liberator from the Star Wars Rebels animated series. Its the same scale as my other micro Star Wars ships (I aim for 1:250), 59cm long, 1903 pieces weighing 1.6kg, but still very strong and easy to pick up.

I've tried my hardest to make all the sections proportionally correct and as detailed as possible. Most of the ship is made from modules connected to a Technic frame, inside of which is the ship's multi-layered interior (not to the same scale, its just a bit of fun!), topped by removable roof sections.

This was the last and by far the biggest ship on my micro Star Wars to-do list and I'm really pleased with how it turned out! Its the same scale as everything else I've labelled 'micro' so I'll try to take some group and maybe battle photos of lots of them together soon. Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy the little space ships :)
