458 FINALE!

The 6-wide 458 project is now finished. What started as a brick-built attempt at a 458 racing car evolved into GT2 and GT3 versions of the racer. It's been great building these and tinkering in Studio 2.0 really helped, but I don't think I can make them any better, so time to move on to new projects.

I much requested insane version of my Huracan😀

It was added on Rebrickable to my 5 Huracan models (white/red/black/orange/lime)

To the Dark Blue Performante instructions and the rest of them (yellow/lbg/dbg)were uploaded as a separate release.

I myself keeping this red version, I love this spec and it kinda emphasizes its crazy nature😀

"This is where the fun begins!"

My latest ship from the Prequel Trilogy has arrived, and it surely was a lot of fun to make: here's Obi Wan's Eta-2 Actis Interceptor from Episode III - Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars.

This small unit consists of 281 pieces (stand included), and has one major feature: true Minifig scale!

There's a handful of beautiful MOCs of this ship out there already, but most of them are based on the huge cockpit piece from the playsets, so they're drastically oversized. So here I am with a, dare I say, more accurately scaled version.

It does come with a drawback, you guessed it: you can't put a fig inside. A bit ironic I know, but I chose to go for a brick-built cockpit in order to get as close to the original design as I could, prioritizing accuracy over playability, as usual.

The wings were pretty challenging given the ridiculously small scale, and my goal was to have them as thin as possible without compromising the SNOT look.

I'm quite happy with the result and I think this makes a nice little display piece. It's also very swooshable despite the intricate wing design.

I'm usually not a fan of stickers, but I thought this one deserved some sweet markings. I used the sticker sheet from the playset - it is included in the parts list. The color scheme can be changed to red with only a few part swaps (see last page in the instructions).

Instructions for the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor are available at Rebrickable!

I know there are many different versions of the hammerhead, so I took some parts of all of them with the rogue one hammerhead as the main inspiration. This model is not minifig scale. I haven't build this model personally, but the structure should be stable and strong. The interior can be accessed by removing the top panel with the single engine on top. Every regular blue/red piece can be exchanged by any color you have lying around!

Dimensions (with stand): 25cm wide, 80cm long and 34cm tall

Pieces: 3897

Cost: around 500 euros

{"cameraType":"Wide","macroEnabled":false,"qualityMode":2,"deviceTilt":-0.95848623116547671,"customExposureMode":1,"extendedExposure":false,"whiteBalanceProgram":99,"cameraPosition":1,"whiteBalanceTemperature":3200,"focusMode":1}

This is a modification of the official Paris skyline set (21044).

The main modification was removing the Grand Palais and substituting in the Panthéon and Notre Dame. I have also made slight modifications to the other already included icons except for the Eiffel Tower.

458 FINALE!

The 6-wide 458 project is now finished. What started as a brick-built attempt at a 458 racing car evolved into GT2 and GT3 versions of the racer. Now that the project is finished, I wanted to show the two cars side by side. They are obviously very similar on the outside, but the exhaust pipes on the GT2 required a rebuild of much of the rear part. It's been great building these and tinkering in Studio 2.0 really helped, but I don't think I can make them any better, so time to move on to new projects.

This night fury from How to Train Your Dragon can be built using only the pieces included in 31165 Panda Family! Instructions available now!

The head can be posed on a ball joint, the tail sways back and forth, and the wings can be rotated. The legs can even be posed around a bit! Toothless doesn’t care for eels, but you can feed him with a fish, also built with the set’s included parts.

There’s no way I could afford or find space for the set 75290 so I decided to give it the micro treatment. Weighing in at about £65 and measuring slightly larger than an A5 piece of paper this is slightly more achievable!

The Cantina opens up similarly to the big set, I’ve just about managed to include all of the figures in barely recognisable micro form (you may have to squint!) and the extra buildings and vehicles are all there too.

I plan on adding Docking Bay 94 for my micro Millennium Falcon, when I do I’ll add them to both my Falcon and Cantina Rebrickable pages, but for now here is are the micro Cantina instructions. With an X-34 Landspeeder thrown in for good measure.

This was a huge project, so I first want to thank some people. Thanks to 2mpaired, creator of brickvault's ultimate star destroyer for giving me advice on stability/technic frame. Thanks to Ron_mcphatty for letting me include his Tantive IV model in the instructions, looks gorgeous! And last but not least, I want to thank Rubblemaker for making the cover! Go check all of these people out, they deserve it :)

The idea for this project was to make a semi-affordable large star destroyer model that would work as a display model, but one that also had interior sections. I hope I delivered!

In front of you is the most accurate 1:24 scale model of a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The proportions of the car are 95% the same as the original, it is impossible to do better in this scale. But you can try to improve my model, I will be only glad. My goal was to build the most accurate model of a 1969 Mustang. I decided to build this car after watching the movie "John Wick"

"Wrecker, easy with my ship. "Your ship?"

My Midi-Scale collection expands again with this nanofig-scaled Havoc Marauder from the Bad Batch series. Despite the small size, I once again went for a full SNOT look and paid close attention to proportions of the original shuttle.

The build comes with a discrete, transparent stand to be displayed in flight mode.

This spring's Speed Champions sets brought with them a bunch of new moulds and recoloured elements. My most anticipated was the Pagani wedge in White in 76922 BMW M4 GT3 & BMW M Hybrid V8 Race Cars. For the latter half of last year I was toying with the idea of using them in a downscaled A-wing, so I was delighted when I realized I could use my tablescraps in a fully-fledged MOC!

Most of this came together quite nicely: the Airjitzu windscreen (18591) was an obvious choice at this scale (finally finding a use after almost a decade!), and I was delighted to find an old Technic Connector (x383) in my collection that made an auspiciously good match for the cannons. Some awkward portions of the build included integrating said cockpit (the recess in the fuselage is a bit more angular than I would have liked compared to the curvy windscreen element) and fitting landing gear: I tried my best but there wasn't quite enough space. I did however, manage a nice smooth underside in lieu of landing apparatus!

I think this is pretty close to what some would call 'minifig scale' but ironically, it's too small to fit a whole figure. The head is sitting on a Racers Body (41850), a detail I overthought as you can barely see it in the finished model.

Thanks to New Elementary and LEGO for sending a 76922 set for review. You can read a breakdown of the set here.
