Walking the grounds here is so tranquil, you can look out over the open waters of the mighty Pacific Ocean or you can find a spot nested in the gardens that gives you shade and floral fragrance as you rest your mind.
n. the moment of realization that your quintessential future self isn’t ever going to show up, which forces the role to fall upon the understudy, the gawky kid for whom nothing is easy, who spent years mouthing their lines in the wings before being shoved into the glare of your life, which is already well into its second act.
Me thinking about the pending 6 hour wait for the 3 hour show. Not even thinking about the 1 hour walk back to the hotel trying to find a restaurant - but cant - because the city just got 250,000 hungry people unleashed on it.

Well unfortunately I've recently come to the realization that the summer is finally drawing to a close. At least for me and other non UC's that have to leave early it seems. High school has been more than a blast and I would do it all over again if I could. Faced with the nagging truth that things won't be the same really makes you appreciate all the people you've enjoyed these past 4 years with. I know I've been able to see who really matters to me and how attached I am to the people that are close to me. The things we've done, memories we've created, and milestones we've been through will hopefully hold everyone together...and I'm sure they will. Most people can probably relate to that. But my biggest regret of high school........I wish I would have taken more pictures. They truly are worth a thousand words.
