I'm really glad we didn't get a second. We would have gotten a boy in an attempt to avoid spay/neuter and/or a bagillion babies and be stuck with just that!

I recently came to the realization that my favorite Holiday Ale from the previous year is determined by how much I’m anticipating this year’s release. With that in mind, then my fave 2007 Holiday Ale was the BiFrost from Elysian Brewing. I’ve actually been keeping an eye out for this one for the past few weeks. When I found it, I bought 2 bottles.
The BiFrost instantly became one of my favorites when I first tried it. It is a treat to take home, but does taste so much better from a tap…guess you can say that about any beer. It is not big on hops, but the malt bill more than makes up for it.
Featured it last year, so there’s not much new to add. Obviously, the Elysian redesigned their labels over the last year.
Though I must warn you, if you buy 2 bottles intending to drink over 2 nights, it won’t work out. ‘cuz when you finish that 1st bottle, the lure of the 2nd will be too strong to resist.

Forget that this world can be cruel
Please forgive the coward in me
Now I know I was only a thief
Who tried to steal your love?
Forgive me that I was influenced by your beauty
But I couldn’t find much beauty inside you
I never thought there could be anything inside you
My love was lust in disguise
You were beautiful and it was your only fault
I remember that cattle is killed for its body
I believe that I influenced you
I tried to influence you
But you didn’t show a sign of love, you are pure
We were tight lipped, our love was silent
I felt I don’t want you
But I was wrong
I always needed someone
I miss your love

The Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens are open to all that seek to come here to relax their mind, body, and spirit. Walking the grounds here is so tranquil, you can look out over the open waters of the mighty Pacific Ocean or you can find a spot nested in the gardens that gives you shade and floral fragrance as you rest your mind.
