Aiming too much into the sun I guess but I find it kind of interesting.

Sun and snow result in an exposure time of about 1 second.
Hard to do with a magnetic slider shutter. I was trying to cover the pinhole with my hand, which results in the flaws at the edges.

Barra Airport (Scottish Gaelic: Port-adhair Bharraigh) is a short-runway airport situated in the wide shallow bay of Traigh Mhòr at the north tip of the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland.
The airport is unique, being the only one in the world where scheduled flights use a beach as the runway.

Shot with the RealitySoSubtle 6x6 Pinhole camera with Kodak Portra 400. I developed in the Unicolor C41 Kit, but messed up. I totally spaced out and forgot to add enough chemicals to my tank!
This is one of the 4 frames that did not get wasted by the light leak. I believe they were all saved by these early Irish settlers rested in peace at this cemetery. As you can see Fomapan isn't a film stock that can produce as fine detail as Ilford HP5+ and Kodak T-Max. I 'm gonna try the more expensive Fujifilm Neopan next.

My 2nd roll of film on my pincole camera didn't come out perfect at all. I 've got 50% of my shots with light leak. I suspect it 's because of the type of film I used as I felt the 120 roll was a tiny bit loose when I took it out of the film chamber. The interesting thing is that you can see the numbers on the paperback of the film. So I am not sure if it 's due to some kind of reflection during the shoot or from the development lab. Who knows? I have accepted this fate. Fortunately, I still have a few shots taken with my phone and from my digital camera. This is the challenge of analog photography. Still, it 's nothing compared to wet plate photography practiced over a hundred years ago. Surprisingly, I 've just learnt that it 's still being practiced today. Check this guy out:

A panoramic pinhole made just past Logan's Pass in Glacier National Park. While I prefer the west side of the park, the drive down from the Continental Divide is pretty incredible as well and the eastern half of the park has plenty to see all on its own.
On this trip we had gone late in the season, not too long before the Going to the Sun Road would enter that time of year where it would be closed for winter. Despite the late season the park was still pretty dang busy and despite getting up at decently early times we found the parking lots at Logan's Pass frequently full up. We had to drive down the east side a bit to find a spot to park and hike back up to the pass. Never one to let a good view go to waste though I had to stop a couple of times here and there to make some images as I went.
As the years tick by I keep slowly working on my goal of pinholing in every National Park. So far so good.

So where do I begin? Yes, the death toll and COVID cases are rising again. As if this is not scary enough, we are heading into an unchartered territory where our current administration is not conceding the election. I hope they would put more focus on saving lives first these days and really wish the essential workers at the front line could weather this storm. This photo echoes my sentiment. I took it at a nearby pioneer cemetery a couple months ago. For some reasons on that day, I just had an urge to do pinhole photography at this cemetery. Don't know why.
