Just returned from 8 weeks in England. On the last weekend my London friends and I had a picnic at Beckenham Place park.

It's a gorgeous park in SE London that is being restored.

Since I was in England for Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day I decided to pinhole our picnic.

Always getting a light leak on the last exposure with this camera. I closed the shutter over the red film counter window before I wound the film on to the take up spool and even unloaded it in the dark bag. It's only ever on the last exposure.

I'd like to think that despite the close proximity of safety and the exit being but a toss of a stone's distance away these folks were unable to navigate the labyrinthine passages to safety. Don't worry, the Coast Guard were notified and they were airlifted from danger, still closer to the center than to the exit.

Anyway, a little bit of catch up tonight while I use the time to work on some more recent images.

f you look at the lower part of the frame, you will see my tripod head. I forgot to bring a Arca Swiss plate to the lake that day so I could only sit the camera on the legs. I’ve resolved that problem for the future and keep an extra plate. Forgetfulness sucks!

Sun and snow result in an exposure time of about 1 second.

Hard to do with a magnetic slider shutter. I was trying to cover the pinhole with my hand, which results in the flaws at the edges.

My RealitySoSubtle 6x17 arrived today so I loaded it with a roll of Fuji Acros 100 and brought it for a test drive , stand developed in Ro9 spezial 1-100 1 hour . It will take a little getting use to but its a very well built pinhole camera
