...has many Faces, the Variety of our different Worlds makes Life kolorful. I guess those who are able to participate in the Perspektives of the Friends and People around live an intensive, stirring Life... For me our Thoughts and the so kalled Knowledge isn´t so "real" as we think, it´s like a String we roll around our Head, kapturing ourself until we see Nothing...

Therefore I prefer to know not too much, just the needed Things, Everything furthermore is only "Vanitas" and useless...

About the photographed Subjekt: It´s one of my early Skulptures I´ve done back in the Year 1998 as a Stament for my Girlfriend then: "you bond me"... some kind of Lovemessage...

I wish decorating the tree was as easy this slider. The tree made it into the house yesterday, but it still sits in the box - maybe today the decorations will make it in, and magically arrange themselves to my liking LOL! UPDATE - The tree did get out of the box and I did decorate it 😀

"Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls." —Anais Nin

This is supposed to be a photomontage that ended up being surreal (in a way) for my image editing class. This the first photo I've edited in my series for "Escaping Reality."

(1/2)

from within the cedric grolet & airelles bakery, this image captures a quintessential moment of modern vacationing. a woman, stylishly dressed in a cherry-print dress, balances her iced coffee while snapping a photo with her phone. the bakery, celebrated and buzzed about on social media, attracts numerous influencers who photograph themselves or the sumptuous pastries. this scene, set against a backdrop of freshly baked croissants and tarts, encapsulates the phenomenon of digital-age travel, where the experience is as much about capturing and sharing as it is about savoring the moment. the high price and the ensuing mixed reviews on google speak to the tension between expectation and reality.

I caught my neighbors cat smiling in the warm morning sun today. He and I appreciate the reality that Spring is here to stay:)

Here's a tiny snapshot of the challenges of maintaining, operating and making a living as a farmer. According to current statistics, the average income of a farmer in Massachusetts is $28,719.00. A mid-sized new tractor cost between $25,000 and $50,000. Larger ones sell for as much as $150,000. Annual cost of repairs to farm equipment and farm buildings must take a huge chuck out of yearly income. It's no wonder that so many farmers are going out of business and the condition of existing farms often seem less than ideal.

Hi friend, I hope you are doing fine. Here is my fresh illustration “New reality”. Nowadays it doesn’t matter what your gender, race, nationality, age, religion or any other form of identity is, we are all affected by coronavirus and how dramatically it changes our lives.

Stay home and be positive!

Le vette più alte, per loro natura, attirano i fulmini [Seneca]

With photography a new language has been created. Now for the first time it is possible to express reality by reality. We can look at an impression as long as we wish, we can delve into it and, so to speak, renew past experiences at will.

Ernst Haas

The Austrian photographer Ernst Haas grabbed my attention since I was a young girl and he showed me the power of colour photography.

Haas' desire to shape the world as he sees it through his colour work sits well today. For we accept the way a photographer's own views alter and manipulate the picture he or she takes, and no longer hold to the notice of objective reality. It's time to stroll through his archives and let them be seen by another generation.

Look here some examples of his excellent work.

It is one thing to have a herd of Sable watching you while you are out in the field looking at plants, things take on a somewhat different perspective when three brothers are having a morning break when you drive by the exact place you worked the day before. It definitely was one of the few times I actually preferred taking the car to work

Doodling is like the number one thing I've missed about college I think. Well. Probably not the number one thing. But. At least the number seven thing. At any rate, I've got a lot of them all doodled up already and it's only week two so I'm hoping to make many many more of these :)

The drawing's from sociology, the background photo is from the Oregon meetup, at the coast. Holy hell is it beautiful there, pictures honestly do it no justice.

Love yall, happy veeknd <3

This public bench (and its very fetching shadow) is located at Ardbeg Point, near Rothesay on the Isle of Bute.

I visited Rothesay many times when I was growing up (it was the regular destination for family holidays) but hadn't been there in many years until November 2006 (when this was taken). My return was to help celebrate my parents' Golden Wedding anniversary. I took this shot while having a Sunday morning walk out to Port Bannantyne (and back again).

Long summer days in Antarctica mean almost 24 hours of sunlight each day, a debt that must be repaid when the Antarctic winter returns…along with almost 24 hours of darkness each day!
