A while before I passed out, a troll started posting porn in the Twitter window, then reported us for broadcasting porn, having our channel taken down. We signed up again as TalkingReal2, but never had the "archive broadcasts" option ticked and forgot to record locally, so this small section of Talking Real is one I'll never see. From the looks of things, Char's also absent and there aren't even any games being played. No idea how we kept our viewers XD
This year I couldn't see real winter until I visited Turkey (photo taken in the way between Ankara and Istanbul).

Il Ponte Borbonico sul Garigliano Real Ferdinando è il primo ponte sospeso su catenarie in ferro dell’Europa continentale, realizzato tra il 1828 e il 1832 su progetto dell’ing. Luigi Giura.
Poliedrico ed insigne esempio della modernità del governo borbonico dal punto di vista ingegneristico, architettonico e artistico, è anche un prodotto della politica industriale del Regno delle Due Sicilie (le parti in ferro del Ponte, in particolare le catene a maglie, furono realizzate nella ferriera Filangieri di Candida, installata nel 1824 da Carlo Filangieri di Satriano nella sua proprietà di Razzona di Cardinale).
Nella prima metà del XIX secolo il Ponte - modernissima opera pubblica - viene costruito per garantire un attraversamento diretto del fiume, sostituendo l’antica scafa (barcone fluviale collegato ad una corda tra le due sponde), per consentire l’agevole prosecuzione del viaggio sulla via Appia, e il ricongiungimento con il sito della città romana di Minturnae ove proprio i Borbone avevano dato inizio, alla fine del XVIII secolo, agli scavi archeologici che arricchirono, con statue ed epigrafi, le collezioni reali.
Il Ponte nella sua fattispecie di opera stradale è anche il testimone muto dell’ultimo atto dell’unificazione dell’Italia sotto il nuovo Regno sabaudo (Battaglia del Garigliano 29 ottobre - 2 novembre 1860), prima dell’assedio di Gaeta e della sua drammatica fine il 13 febbraio 1861, e delle dure battaglie lungo la linea Gustav al termine della II guerra mondiale, che videro la distruzione dell’impalcato il 14 ottobre 1943.
La distruzione del 1943, già vigente la legge di tutela del 1939, è la testimonianza di come il Ponte sia considerato non come Bene culturale soggetto a tutela, ma obiettivo strategico.
Restaurato nel 1998, e affidato alla tutela dello Stato, può essere considerato anche come “case study” della problematica dei beni culturali a rischio in caso di conflitti armati.

Real Storm. Miriam are his dam, so I`ve had him since he was born in june 2002.
This is a VERY rare personality. He LOVES people, dogs and carrots more than anything, and when I arrive the stable, he welcomes me with a lot of talk and a horsey kiss on my cheek.
I dont ride as active as I would like to any more, but 15 year old Eleonore takes care of him a couple of days a week. She also competes with Storm, and especially at the showjumping course, they start to get a dangerous equipage to all the others (Now thinking of results;-)
Storm and Eleonore also do dressage, cross country, hacking, polocrosse, driving, mounted games, you name it, they`ll try it!
A tough equipage who wont let anything stop them!

I have been too tired each night after work to bake....the boys said they would help me. We made three different kinds tonight and they both said they are in for tomorrow night too! Traditions ARE important, and they did not want Christmas without making cookies....I love these two!
My mom, a huge baker, is looking down and smiling.........we are making many of her recipes.....
