The 81,000 seat Santiago Bernabeu is the home to the most highly decorated team in Spain, Real Madrid, and a Mecca of world soccer. It opened in 1947 and has since seen World Cup matches, Euro Championships, Champions League Finals and numerous other high profile events.

Something quite different from my usual uploads.
A while ago there was a exhibition displaying real human bodies preserved in some kind of balm. I decided to share them with all of you but because it is a bit weird I'm uploading all of them at once.

Le cimetière municipal fait face à l'Hôpital St-Julien. Une petite partie est dédiée aux personnes ayant vécu dans l'hôpital.
C'est la deuxième fois que je m'y rends. C'est la deuxième fois que je m'en trouve boulversée. Je me sens si triste à la vue de ces stèles identiques. Pour la plupart, aucune indication de famille. En effet, cet hôpital a hébérgé des Enfants de Duplessis. Des enfants abandonnés par des parents trop pauvres ou par des filles mères. Beaucoup se sont vus collés une étiquette d'aliéné mental, de fou, d'hystérique, etc alors qu'ils étaient aussi normaux que moi.
Un recours collectif a été effectué par des enfants de Duplessis devenus adultes. Le gouvernement a versé une compensation financière (montant ridicule) . L'Église, elle, a toujours refusé de reconnaitre sa responsabilité face aux évènements tragiques qui ont pu s'y dérouler.

L'Associació de Filles de Maria del Rosari ha celebrat la seua festa principal amb la tradicional Missa de Roser a l'església Arxiprestal. A l'eucaristia han assistit l'alcalde, José Benlloch, i regidors de la corporació. Seguidament, s'ha inaugurat l'obra de reforma de la casa social.
