Liberating a town near you!
A part of my new Canadian Army. Full group shot will be posted once complete (hopefully in about a week) then individual detailed photo's of each new build will be put up for viewing.
A northbound Main Line train pulls in Ramsey, the last stop in the Garden State before reaching its destination of Suffern NY on 10 July 1984, in a view from the Admiral (yours truly is hidden behind the crossing gate taking a less than stellar version). Chugging U34CH No. 4171 powers the consist past the Ramsey Press, housed in the old Ramsey Journal building, a fixture on many a model railroad layout since the 1960s thanks to the AHM kit. Unusual for this time period is the stainless steel Arrow car mixed in with the usual Comet coaches.

++ If you don't like trend setting comments... like I agree with the crop repeated and reapeated. Have you read about trend setting patterns also called conformity trends, also called I don't have an opinion so I repeat what others said like a LORIKEET? Think about it

Today was the first day of remote teaching my pupils. It feels so strange to have had the school year cut short so abruptly...
I will be spending my spare time reading, cooking, baking, tending to my plants and listening to music mainly. Expect lots of still life photos coming up too!

I watched a show on Amazon Prime, Chaco Canyon. I have driven by it for many years and I have never stopped. The ruins were built between 850 -1250 AD. The people that created also setup their buildings to reflect the movement the sun and the moon, or that is what the scientist say. Way above my head.
The thing that got me they also have a picture showing the Alien Throne. They never explained it, but makes me wonder if there was some connection between the Chaco Canyon and the Throne. They never say anything about it. They do say a road went straight north to the Valley of Dreams area.
So If anyone has any information that shows a link between Chaco Canyon area and the Alien Throne I would appreciate seeing it.

One of the first sites that you will see as you drive closer into the park, is Newspaper Rock. They had a lot to say back then.
I LOVE rocks, have collected them all my life, and many times, friends who travel bring back rocks for me! These are mixes from all over the world. I have them on top of the soil in some of my large flower pots. That way, I see them every time I water! And yes, I have to take the rocks OFF when I move plants in! I am pretty sure they add 5 lbs to the pots! :)
Went out last night and braved the elements for some night photography with the Old Man and Kajo. (read more about our excursion on my blog )
When we arrived the clouds opened nicely and I shot this image, after that they closed in and it started raining on and off for the rest of the night.
