A year after the previous photo, on 13th June 1998, another Reading & Wokingham coach was passing through Dover. DAF SB2305 Van Hool Alizee WXI 5863 had been new to Peter Carol of Bristol as E629 KCX.

Seen in Slough in May 2018 is Reading Buses Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC / ADL H47/33F 757 YX64VRT working a 702 service to London Victoria.
At the end of the Reading Buses open day in July 2018, members of the fleet temporarily parked in the adjacent car park were returned to the depot. Seen making the short trip is Green Line Alexander Dennis Enviro400 / ADL H47/33F 1212 DU61FVY. This bus was new to Lloyds of Machynlleth as LC61WYN in 2011 and joined the Reading Buses fleet in 2016 having also ran with Go-Goodwins of Eccles as GO60ODY.

It was a few hours in Reading today (24/04/2021) to see what was going on and to test out a new lens for the camera. The many colours of Reading Buses were in full bloom in some lovely April sunshine.

Seen in Bracknell Bus Station in January 2019 is Reading Buses Green Line liveried Alexander Dennis Enviro400 / ADL H47/32F 1214 DU62FHK. This bus was new to Lloyds of Machynlleth as LC62WYN in 2012 and joined the Reading Buses fleet in 2016 having also ran with Go-Goodwins of Eccles as LA60ODY.

A look at some of the buses that were present at the Reading Buses Open Day in July 2018. They included Reading Buses 381 BG63VVA, a Mercedes-Benz City 45 9-seat minibus new to Avis Budget of Heathrow in 2013.
Reading Buses were on rail replacement duties in Guildford in late May 2018. Among the buses used on the Bank Holiday Monday were Scania N280UD / Alexander Dennis Enviro400 City H45/26D 712 YP67XCG in two-tone purple livery for the Purple 17 route.

This bus was new to Stagecoach Lincolnshire as YM55 SVL as a stabhdard Solo before being converted to gas.
Reading Buses acquired it in 2016.
This bus was withdrawn in 2024.

Reading Buses took over running the Green Line 702 service from First Group over the Christmas period in 2017. The service runs from Bracknell to London Victoria with some early morning and late evening services extending to Reading.
Since then a variety of different vehicle types have been used on the service including Scania demonstrator YN16CFU, a Scania N250UD / Alexander Dennis Enviro400 MMC temporarily numbered 778 in the Reading fleet, seen here in Bracknell in February 2018.
For the Green Line 702 Reading/Bracknell-London Victoria service, Reading Buses have trialled a number of new buses including BCI FBC6108BRZ1 / BCI H51/27F 301 LX17GKL.
Ensignbus market the bus as the 'Ensign Excellence' and 12 were imported from China in 2017. This followed 5 examples of the 3-axle 'Ensign Enterprise' that arrived in 2016.
The sole green liveried example LX17GKL is seen in Bracknell bus station in February 2018 operating on the 702.

A spell of good weather in late June 2019 once again brought out the Reading Buses Dennis Trident / Plaxton President open-topper 520 V524ESC for a stint of route 17 Three Tuns to Tilehurst Water Tower.
