After making the tiny chocolate cakes, I had a lot of little leftover cake pieces. At first, I was going to stick them in the freezer to use as a crust for something in the future.
Then the boyfriend suggested that I make a trifle as we also had black raspberries from his grandparent's house in need of a good use.
Not to mention, I got this trifle bowl for my birthday and hadn't christened it yet.

I'm going berry picking next week with work friends...there might be another trifle in the very near future.
“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh,” said Piglet at last, “what's the first thing you say to yourself?”

“I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?” said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully.
“It's the same thing,” he said.
