Hoplolatilus chlupatyi - the Flashing Tilefish. Mine's name is Blinky! Yes, that is the same fish in both pics. I apologize for the dirty glass and poor photo, he has only been here for about a week and a half and is still getting used to things, I didn't want to scare him by cleaning around him. I waited a long time for this rare fish! He's doing really good, look at that fat belly!

The Underwater Observatory and Marine Park, one of the top attractions in Eilat, Israel is located four miles south of the city, towards Tapa Beach. We arrived in late afternoon only an hour before closing but managed to see some very impressive displays.
