It's a very rare fish in Maldives. This was caught by my dad on a fishing trip near Male' atoll Emboodhoo. I have never seen this before, so i reported Marine Research by my cousin Musha who was working at that time, and they said that this is only the second of its kind that was caught and reported. Record shows that the other one was caught in Addu atoll. It's about 6 feet in length, and it doesn't have scales but something like a twin spikes. my friends Amin, Mubay and me was lucky enough to taste it. it's so oily but tastes nice. I don't remember the english or scientific name of it. Bu ti would love to know it from someone and also would love to know if someone knew about this or have seen one like this in Maldives.
