We drove up to Flagstaff to see the changing colors, and what a cool trip this was. It was chilly, foggy, misty, and dreary, but at the same time, it was a nice break from the desert heat.
I just love the diversity of climates and temperatures in Arizona, particularly why I moved here
The spectacular ceiling light fixture in the public washroom of the Perky Owl Cafe in Yarmouth. I love the subtle green colour present in the periphery of this image.
A variety of Manihot, if the internet serves me well.

We went to see the Hanami, the cherry blossom at Hakone Gardens, a Japanese garden in Saratoga, California. The garden is open at night while the cherry blossoms last; visit only by advanced reservation.
I processed a realistic, a paintery, and a photographic HDR photo from four RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

One of the things I like about macro photography is that you show your viewers things that they might otherwise walk right by along the same path that you took the shot. For example, this tiny flower has such a neat center. It reminded me of a reactor core filled with color and energy that appears to radiate out through the petals and into the surrounding foliage. This shot was taken while on a walk through the San Diego Botanic Garden.
