Early this morning I saw a rabbit sitting on my front lawn. Since the local rabbits are used to seeing people, they have become quite easy to photograph. Photographed in Wallaceburg, Ontario.
Elliot is a Californian rabbit which was developed in the 1920's by crossing Himalyan and standard Chinchilla and New Zealand Whites.
Its often easier to get close to baby rabbits as they have not yet learned to fear man. I've seen lots of them all over the place this year.
Quite a nice castor Satin. This photograph shows the shine on his coat reasonably well. This is a pet rabbit belonging to my mother.
Rabbit fest in Vancouver, BC. Put on by VRRA (Vancouver Rabbit Rescue & Advocacy), it is a great meating place for Rabbit owners, with games, grooming, free vet checks, as well as general information for good rabbit health.
I don't know if it's a cottontail or a snowshoe hare. It's very big and still has white feet from the winter. He's eating dandelion leaves.
