Want to drive a beagle crazy? Put one of these in your yard.

This is one of many rabbits in our backyard and they drive our beagle Ginger NUTS. Whenever we take her out in the backyard, she'll go into overdrive - tail wagging furiously, nose to the ground, running here there and everywhere trying to track the rabbit. It's a good thing she's not a hunting dog though, because more often than not she's so busy sniffing the ground she won't see the rabbit sitting in the grass 3 feet away from her!

And yes, I really did take this photo in our backyard, despite the fact that it looks like a jungle. We haven't been able to mow yet this year and it's been raining for so many days straight that the weeds are beginning to take on a life of their own. This bunny has been nice enough to eat a few here and there to help us out :)

Well known for their ability to reproduce, they can have several litters each year from the age of around three months. With an average litter size of six.Babies are born naked and blind in a special burrow, or stop, made by the doe. Weaned at four weeks, they leave this burrow to take their place in the rabbit community.

A rabbit seems to have moved in to our garden.

While looking over old images I came across this one from last year. I was waiting for a Cetti warbler to appear and was watching the rabbits playing in the field.

There were rabbits everywhere on the campsite but this was the best photo I managed to get of one.

Nom nom nom nom nom.......

After being diagnosed with maloccluded incisors, the vet removed Tetney's 4 front incisors. This is him just a few hours after getting home. He isn't too pleased and became a bit more displeased when the pain killers wore off. Now, this was a few days ago and since then he is much happier. In fact, I've never seen a rabbit eat so much hay with so much enthusiasm. He was a little annoyed at first as he had to re-learn how to pick up food but soon got the hang of it.

Entry for the 20th of September.

A rabbit, earlier today. He was unavailable for comment.

"Skeeter" on his nose. :)

As I move away from the convention circuit and cosplay scene for a while, I welcome a shift back to nature. It's a refreshing way to cleanse your "creative palate". There's definitely an art project in the works and other, more commercial aspects of my portfolio will be updated as the summer months come to pass. Be sure to follow/subscribe for all of my latest work! :)

Are they really cute?

When I got out of my car this morning, it was such a beautiful morning that I went for a short walk to enjoy the nice weather. This rabbit had the same idea. Jul 21, 2015 L1250961.dng
