Three RT's and 5 RTW's line up in Barking Garage Yard on 25/2/68. The different style headlamps will be noted.
While RT 1202 waits to cover the normal route to Mill HIll, RT 1301 behind, with expert guidance, is readied for a trip via Cherry Lane Cemetery.
Destined to be the last RT in public service, 624's cab heater must have been ineffective judging by the newspaper stuffed in the vents.
This was the last day of the bifurcation via Cherry Lane Cemetery. The area had not seen so many live people!

RT2565 passes another RT (with another in the distance) in Cranbrook Road, Ilford on the 129 route on 7/5/74. This street seemed to contain various clocks. The 129 route went over to OMO in Oct'76.
A bit of Saturday bunching. Both buses survive, 4633 in Belgium and 3254 in original Green Line from.
The 102 only had modern buses at weekends at this time, otherwise 17 RTs provided the entertainment. 3467 finally went in early '79.
'Nothing for half an hour then eight come along together'. RT 2541 (BK) and seven others in a cavalcade of buses over route 62 on the last day of RT operation in London. Saturday 7th April 1979.

In a sorry state but the radiator badge and bonnet plate appear to have been saved.................do you have them?
Until I came across these pictures, and researched the details, I'd forgotten that for much of 2001 London route 492 was sub-contracted by London Central to Blue Triangle.
Roger Wright doesn't need much of an excuse to use an RT, so on 7th April 2001, RT3871 put in an appearance.
This is Sidcup Station. The 'Bluewater Park' destination didn't last long before 'Park' was dropped. It is after all yet another sodding shopping mall and not a park.
This wasn't the first time an RT had operated on the 492!: www.flickr.com/photos/9003948@N05/6871638861
