'RT 75' is the first of the '2014 - Year of the Bus' celebrations, and marks the 75th anniversary of the entry into service of the first RT-types on route 22.
The event featured a number of runs by RT-family vehicles between Piccadilly Circus and Homerton, which was once part of the 22 route. Some buses also ran to and from Ash Grove Garage, where there was also a display of RT-family vehicles, including an ex-St Helens example which had come down all the way from the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum in Lathalmond, Fife.

This is one of two surviving Cravens bodied RTs of what (by LT standards) was a small batch of 120 bought when the need for new vehicles was at its greatest, and subsequently withdrawn as non-standard once the tide turned in the 1950s.
This livery was carried by 'country bus' RTs in the late 1940s.
The other Cravens RT was alongside at this point, but a photograph of the two proved impossible due to one photographer insisting on an ultra close-up with a wide-angle lens...
For some years following the demise of RT's, a dwindling number of stalwarts recreated the end of RTs on the nearest anniversay Sunday. This being the 30th anniversary, it was an occasion not to be missed, but only four buses took part. Here they are on Whalebone Lane North.
