Harrow Weald's conversion to RMs on route 140 was scheduled for 13th August 1978, but the RT availabilty gradually worsened, so the date was brought forward to 15th July 1978, and it meant the end of RTs at one of LTs most prestigious termini, Heathrow Airport. RT 3911 (HD) departs Heathrow Airport on a trip running the full length of the 140 to Mill Hill Broadway station, two months before the influx of RMs to this busy West London route.
