Exploring Mark Rothko, this is one of a series of small acrylic paintings (10" x 10") that don't capture the vast sweep and depth of his work, but seem to have a jewel like quality of their own.

my brother and i took a picture with this piece almost a decade ago..couldn't believe it was still there.
